What You Can Expect:
- Up to 2½ hours of in-person consultation. You will have direct, face-to-face interaction to discuss and review your project.
- Thorough evaluation of your existing or proposed design plans. Whether you're in the conceptual, preliminary, or final stretch of your decision-making, we walk through your physical space on site. In the event you're working on a new construction project that isn't built yet, we will meet at a location that is convenient for you.
- Identify any potential issues or "pain points" in the layout or architectural design. You'll get recommendations to optimize space planning, ensure proper traffic pattern and flow and allow for adequate clearances, maximize functionality, and bring your personalized aesthetic to ensure the design meets your unique style and needs.
- Confidence to move forward. When you're unsure about the plans received from your builder or contractor or need reassurance that your investment is sound, this can allow you to make changes before it's too late. We can discuss details that are often overlooked by builders and contractors and uncover any potential pitfalls.
What You'll Need:
- Preliminary or conceptual architectural and construction drawings along with demo plans, proposed space planning changes, lighting plans, elevations, and/or detailed selections from your cabinet maker/company, etc. Having any and all of these copies in printed form works best so we can make notes right on them.
- Material and finish schedules that include specifications of your selections including paint color, flooring, cabinets, etc. for any and all interior and/or exterior elements already specified (even if you don't plan to discuss them) or preliminary selections being considered for your project.
- Any 3D renderings, conceptual sketches, or inspiration images provided will be helpful.
- For the most effective use of time and to ensure consensus on any changes, it is recommended that all decision-makers be present during the consultation.
Other Notes:
- If needed, additional 2½-hour sessions can be arranged either back-to-back or at a later date to ensure all your concerns are addressed and your plans are refined.
- This service is flexible and can be booked at any stage of your project, whether you're just beginning to consider the changes you want to make or you're further along in the process. It's a great option for those in the early ideation and conceptual design phase, as it allows you to explore various options and visualize the potential of your space, even before any plans are drawn up which helps save you time.
